I would love this crock pot. Fall/winter is my favorite time of year for cooking. So, I would make a crock pot full of a yummy chicken noodle soup or beef stew. On the side I’d have a warm crusty bread with real warm butter, and an oooey gooey chocolate rappberry cake.
Being a working mom, a slow cooker would be a great way to make a great home cooked meal without having to be home. I love the fall and a great roast with carrots a nd potatoes would be one of many things I would make! Happy cooking!!
I would make my homemade Apple Butter. Granny Smith Apples (peeled and cut into eight sections – full to top of pot), a tablespoon of cinnamon and 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Cook until it is right consistency.

HI Laura, I am a huge fan of yours! I have recently written my first cookbook entitles, “Apron Strings.” The recipes are very simple and user friendly. There are 335 of them. My book has taken me to our local/state tv stations to demonstrate some of my favorites.I’m also in the process of getting my secong book published, called “FEED ME.” This book is much like my first one with the exception of about 50+ slow cooker recipes. I would love to share my books and some of my favorites with you. (I also could use a new slow cooker)…lol
Thanks for taking time to real my comment. I look forward to hearing from you!

BUT, more importantly (to me) what my son would make in my ‘hand me down’ ……. he is in college and workin’ full time to pay for his schooling ………. His slow cooker ‘died’ and he and his roommates used it most days………….. He would make dinner (more than likely an elk stew, he makes a ‘mean’ one :))
